Take Me Home Part 2
02:03
She was not expecting his assessing of her behaviour and what she did. So the next morning, without a warning, she made him coffee then she said, “The fact that you don’t want to be with me does not inspire me to want to love you or take you home. You keep carrying on and saying that I am what I am but you love me anyway. Your kind of love just puts me down. I don’t feel like I really want to be around so I made up my mind, that’s it, I’m gone. I’m gonna find someone who loves me, will take me home.”

Forever
03:09
Forever is a long, long time. Forever is a road. Forever is forever, darling. You bring forever to me, now. You take me on that road that takes us there forever, darling. We are on this road together, we ride on our own endeavor now. We are on this road together, forever.
We’ll go together to that place where we are gonna be, we will be together darling. We have something special that we will always keep together, forever. However long it takes, we’ll get there, and I don’t know how long it’s gonna be. But if we can keep it up, we’ll get there, together.

Brokedown Palace
03:15
Brokedown Palace brought me back to the place where it started and I figured that the answers were clear and the questions were gone. Now, I find myself in a place I don’t belong, on the crooked line that I tiptoe every time I’m with you.
It leads in the direction that you went; a place that I’d said I’d go but it never made the sense. I looked for replacements and gave into games. I’ve been the man that I sympathized, embarrassed and ashamed, on the crooked line that I tiptoe every time I’m with you.
Brokedown Palace brought me back to the place I remember and discovered that path that leads to the front of your door, and I hope that door is open like it always was before - on the crooked line, that I tiptoe every time I’m with you.

Two Feet out the Door
01:33
There we were, the hidden skids of town, keeping our eyes down as we looked around; a pack of dogs with trouble on the way. Ducking bounties that were on our heads, dead or alive, but most wanted us dead, we stayed to together for a chance at future days. We hoped that things would turn out okay, we talked about it and we planned for days, we thought about how things were different than they were before. We had to leave, make it out, no time to hang around, say goodbye with two feet out the door. "Let’s go, hit the road."

Gave It All
03:11
She walked the line. She walked alone, did all the little things to make a home. She did it all. She did it all for you.
She sacrificed, she navigated, she worked her bones tired so your path was made baby. She did it all. She did it all for you. She did it all. She did it all. She did it all. For you, she did it all. She gave it all. She gave it all. She gave it all for you, her baby, for you.
She watched you crawl. She saw you grow. She made your wings for you then let you go. She did it all. She did it all for you.

Neverendingly Mine
03:14
At the time, I heard your voice but my choices left me sea sick and blind. I got myself in trouble to the point I couldn’t see all the signs. But, when I’d start to lose my way, you were right there to make it okay, and I got to always feeling that you would never leave me behind.
And eventually it seemed as if I couldn’t get it out of my mind. A little bit would do me turned into I need it all of the time. So, when I started to lose control, you reminded me by letting me know that if there was a problem didn’t mean that you would be by my side.
I got in so much trouble (with) no one sifting through the rubble of mine. It was time I needed saving and I needed you to throw me a line. When I was about to lose my mind, you convinced me that things could be fine, and that I had to face the weather. So, I went ahead and left it behind.
When I was about to lose my way you were right there to make it okay, but I can’t go on pretending that your love is neverendingly mine. Yeah, I can’t go on pretending that your love is neverendingly mine.

Wild Child
03:34
And you, you’re a wild child. I can’t get enough of the way you make it all go mild. And you, you’re the best damn show. Anything you do is because you need to let me know. I can’t get enough of anything or something that good. Tell me if you want to help to make you feel like you could. Anywhere you want to be, let me know, we’ll get there in time. As for the feeling, no one really needs to know why. And you, you’re a wild child. And you, make it all go mild.
And you, you let me in. I can’t get enough of the thing that you let me begin. And you make it all feel warm, beautiful and weary, a little like an incoming storm. I can’t get enough of anything or something that good. Tell me if you want to help to make you feel like you could. Anywhere you want to be, let me know, we’ll get there in time. As for the feeling, no one really needs to know why. You, you’re a wild child. And you, make it all go mild.

Better Than Nothing
02:04
Honey, let’s get running, take my hand, don’t let go. We’re out of here, there’s too much fussing, and we’re off to see what we can be. Something, better than nothing. We’re rusting our days away. Off we go to "we don’t know", but we’re gonna come to a place we can be something.

Song For You
02:30
I sing this song to sum it up - a song of hope, a song for love. A little song that says it all. From me to you, I sing this song. A song that I always knew, a song for everything, that I wrote for you only.

Go with the Flow
02:50
Come closer, don’t try to hide and run away. Stay, say all those you don’t say. Just go, go with the flow. Remember to show the beating of your heart, that’s the best way to help you make a start.
Try to see all those things you don’t see; the way that can, perhaps, set you free. Go with the flow and remember the goal that helps you make a start. A known path you can roam, and that path is for the beating in your heart.

14 Days
02:40
Supposedly, it was Lou Reed’s “Ride into the Sun” that rang out from the speakers of the car that would be the cause of a drive out of the town in fourteen days. Fourteen days and as unexpected as a winter rain in Whitehorse. After that, the sum of the scene added to nothing but future histories and what was to be expected upon sight of fifteen days later. Wouldn’t it be nice if just you and I could just get away and maybe mean what we say again? Out of the rain and drifting into the plains, setting sail on the breeze, we will do what we please again.

Poor Man's Jig
01:10
I was sitting and you were there. Next thing I knew I was going somewhere, thrown on a ship and I didn’t know what to do. I got off when we hit the shore. Where I was, well I wasn’t sure but I’m doing everything just to get back home to you where we can see the tide tonight, the crest upon the waves, and we could see what once was ours and wish they’d all go away.
Land of America, back in time, took my land and left me crying now I’m doing everything just to get back home to you. I will search and I’ll roam for the faces I know, where the sea and the dirt made my bones. All the feelings I hold, I can never let go of the sweet memories of my home.

Had It All
02:32
There’s nothing like second chances, extenuating circumstances. With hearts of glass we still go dancing knowing that we could have it all. And by all means, it wasn’t easy in the light that you could see me, living for the moments that we get lost in thoughts that we have it all.
There’s nothing like seeing you smiling through the years of barely trying. And in the end, when we are dying, we’ll go knowing that we had it all. At least we’ll know that we had it all.

Read in the Paper
03:01
Everyday I read in the paper that "so and so" has got to go down. All these decisions by people who seem to just throw a lot of money around for all their investors with their hand in some pockets, wondering when they’re gonna get paid. It makes me think about what makes the world go around. Who’s gonna save me from things going down?
Too many times have I read in the paper that "so and so" is at it again. Loads of munitions just to take a position when you’re getting all that help from a friend. A mind one track and a kick in the back, that’s it and we’re going to war. Makes me think about what makes the world go around. Who’s gonna save me from things going down?

You Say You Love Me
02:03
You say you love me, I love you more. You say you love me, I love you more. But when life kicked me out the door, I said I love you, you loved me more.
You could have picked a better man. You could have turned away and ran. You could have had life in your hand, instead you took me in your plans.
When I look into your eyes they take me to that place where the sweetness of your smile brightens all my days.
You say you love me, I love you more. You say you love me, I love you more. But when life kicked me out the door, I said I love you, you loved me more.
When I look into your eyes they take me to that place where the sweetness of your smile brightens all my days.
You say you love me, I love you more. You say you love me, I love you more. But when life kicked me out the door, I said I love you. You say you love me. I said I loved you, you loved me more.
